At Ya Funca we take care of the personal data of the people who write to us. This policy explains what data we collect, what we use it for and how you can exercise your rights, under Uruguay's Personal Data Protection Law No. 18,331. If you are in the European Union, you also have the rights granted by the GDPR.

We don't ask for sensitive data, and we ask you not to include it in your message.

We don't sell or share your data, and we won't send you newsletters or advertising without your explicit permission.

We process your data based on your consent, which you give by ticking the form's checkbox or by writing to us. If you later hire our services, we also use it to perform that business relationship.

You can also file a complaint with Uruguay's data protection authority, the Unidad Reguladora y de Control de Datos Personales (URCDP), or with the authority in your country.

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and our accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-step verification. Only people who need your data to reply to you can access it.

9. Client project information

When we test a client's product, we work in test environments and with dummy data whenever possible, and we treat all project information as confidential. We're happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) if you need one.

If we change this policy, we'll publish the new version on this page with its update date.
